
Kyle Matsumura, MD is a native to Utah. At an early age, Dr. Matsumura knew he would pursue a career in medicine. He has completed 4 years of undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, 2 years of study at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Utah and completed 4 years of Medical School at the University of Utah.
Dr. Matsumura’s post-graduate training included a 1 year Internship at the University of Utah in Internal Medicine, a 3 year Anesthesiology Residency starting at Stanford University and finishing with a 1 year Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. Matsumura graduated from the Anesthesiology Residency at the top of the class. Dr. Matsumura was also the Medical Director for St. Mark’s Hospital Pain Management Department for 4 years prior to entering private practice. He also serves as the Chairman for the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee for the State of Utah.
